It is not recommended due to its unreliability and Novell has removed SPG support in its version 3.11 of NetWare for Unix. An alternate solution is Pacer's Appletalk product. 2) For NetWare/3000, no API libraries or documention are shipped with the product. A software developers kit (containing the libraries, documentation, and sample programs) is available from IND. For NetWare/9000, the API libraries are shipped with the product but no documentation is provided. Documentation is available from Novell. 3) Virtual Terminal capability can be provided by the HP Network Services 2.1 for NetWare product (P/N D1819A). 4) Hybrid users do not work in version 3.01B of NetWare for Unix. The problems will be fixed in version 3.11. 5) Not shipped with product. Can be purchased from Novell. 6) SCONSOLE is not recommended for configuration of NetWare transport and services because it does not modify the configuration files properly (edit the configuration files manually instead). SCONSOLE works fine for configuring printers and gathering statistics. 4
